🔍Position Overview

As an Environmental Engineer at ISOTECH, you’ll be at the forefront of implementing environmental studies and managing projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in environmental impact assessments, waste management, and construction environmental management. The role involves working closely with clients and ensuring the successful execution of environmental initiatives.

 

📝 Responsibilities

🔹Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA): Conduct thorough EIAs to evaluate the potential environmental effects of proposed projects.

🔹Waste Management: Develop comprehensive waste management plans. Conduct waste characterization studies to optimize waste handling practices.

🔹Community Annoyance Assessments: Assess and mitigate potential community impacts related to environmental projects.

🔹Project Management: Take ownership of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

🔹Client Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. 🔹Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations effectively.

🔹Monitoring of EU and Local Regulations: Stay updated on EU and local environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental laws and standards.

🔹Circular Economy Implementation: Assist businesses in integrating circular economy practices into their operations. Provide guidance on sustainable resource use, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives.

 

🎓 Required Qualifications

🔹University Degree (BSc and/or MSc) in Environmental Engineering. A postgraduate degree in environmentally related issues will be considered a plus.

🔹Fluent in Greek and English (spoken and written)

🔹Project Management Certification (e.g. Prince2 or similar) and/or registration in an engineering/ technical chamber (e.g. ETEK) will be considered as additional qualifications.
