SAVEMEDCOASTS latest key actor interview: Mr. Christos Petrides, Larnaca Marina Manager at Cyprus Tourism Organisation
ISOTECH’s Director, Xenia I. Loizidou, interviewed Mr. Christos Petrides, Larnaca Marina Manager at Cyprus Tourism Organisation on the issue of Sea Level Rise in Cyprus. This is the last interview within the series of specifically structured interviews with targeted key stakeholders in Cyprus, Greece and Italy that is implemented by ISOTECH as part of the SAVEMEDCOASTS “Sea level rise scenarios along Mediterranean coasts” Project.
In his interview Mr. Christos Petrides, stressed that there are experts in Cyprus, especially in the private sector and we must find a way to transfer this expertise to the competent authorities and decision-makers. We also need to act provisionally to address Sea Level Rise in a timely manner in order to minimize damages and financial impacts.
