Description: MARLISCO’s Exhibition in Cyprus was hosted at ‘Filoxenia’ Conference Centre on two separate occasions. On the first occasion, from the 27th to the 28th of March 2014 the Exhibition was a main element of the “ADAPT to CLIMATE” International Conference. Over these two days, it was viewed by the international participants of the conference.
On its second visit to ‘Filoxenia’, on 26 February 2015, the Exhibition participated at the ‘Sustainable Schools’ event organised by the Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education. The aim of the event was to propose novel educational activities for promoting and teaching about sustainability in schools. The Exhibition was there as an example of such an activity, and also represented the entire MARLISCO project and its educational outputs. Representatives of 300 schools had therefore the chance to visit the Exhibition and find out more about how they can incorporate marine litter into their teaching.
