ISOTECH Ltd, as lead partner of MARLISCO in Cyprus, was responsible for the construction and journey of the MARLISCO Exhibition around the island of Cyprus. The Exhibition was originally developed in two languages, Greek and English, although later on Turkish versions of the informational poster were also incorporated. Instead of metallic barrels, waste plastic barrels were used in the Exhibition, to further highlight the abundance of plastic waste in the sea.
Over the duration of the project, the Cypriot Exhibition travelled to eight different locations and participated in nine different events, each targeting a specific audience. Depending on the location, additional elements, such as large PVC versions of the MARLISCO Guide for Reducing Marine Litter and glass bowls containing sand and marine litter, were added to the exhibition’s main elements.
The Exhibition will continue its travels around Cyprus even after the end of the project, with planned visits in Nicosia and Limassol over the summer of 2015.
